Rachel Andreini
Rachel Andreini is a senior English major and co-president of Gustavus' book club, PageTurners. She hails from Lincoln, NE. Rachel enjoys messing around on the piano, playing Dungeons & Dragons and collecting elephant paraphernalia. One of her favorite authors is Walter Moers.
Christian Ash
Christian Ash is from St. Anthony Village, MN, and is a first-year at Gustavus. He founded the Gustavus Chess Club and spends much of his time either playing the royal game or biking around town. His work has won second and third places for the Lawrence-Owen prize, and has been published in Kaliedzine magazine. He also has a podcast, which you can find at www.learnedpodcast.com.
Lindsay Benavides
Lindsay Benavides is a sophomore English Major and Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies minor. Born in Rice Lake, WI, she has always been humble to her Cheese Head roots while living in Minnesota. On campus, Lindsay spends the majority of her time studying in the Courtyard Cafe and binging "Love Island" late at night. She is also involved in the Alpha Sigma Tau sorority and will be a writing tutor in the fall. Lindsay hopes to teach English abroad after graduating from Gustavus, and maybe after that she will go to Graduate school (or live at her parent's house for the rest of her life).
Jana Blomberg
Jana Blomberg is originally from Plymouth, MN. She is currently a senior at Gustavus. Her major is in Studio Art and her minor is in Mathematics. On campus, she is a member of the Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority. Photography and art are passions of hers and she hopes to continue doing them after college.
Kyra Bowar
Kyra Bowar is a junior English and Communication Studies double major from Burnsville, MN. Inspired by the constant surprises that the world has to offer, she enjoys traveling and being outdoors. She is a multi-sport athlete, splitting her time between swimming, reading, hiking, and hammocking. She would like to dedicate her work to her plants, Neville, Seamus and Dean.
Vin Branom
Vienna (Vin) Branom is a sophomore at Gustavus. They are from the Twin Cities, and they're very passionate about color, expression, ice coffee, and their pet rabbits.
Hannah Calkins
Hannah Calkins is a junior Studio Art Major at Gustavus. She enjoys working with collage, digital art, and photography. She received the presidential grant for summer 2020, so she will be working on feminist collage pieces this summer.
Liam Carr
Liam Carr is a junior English and Classics major at Gustavus. Originally from Bloomington, MN, he is part of the LineUs Improv group on campus, and when he's not doing that, or schoolwork, he likes to spend his time standing late at night in the Arb whispering ominous nothings at passersby. Web design is his passion.
Will Clark
Will Clark is a senior set to graduate May 2020 at Gustavus. He is a captain of the Men’s Swim & Dive Team, and has made several videos for Gustavus over the past two years. He is from Northfield, MN, and looks to pursue a career on the west coast.
Nicole Cundiff
Nicole Cundiff is a junior at Gustavus, and she’s a proud member of the Gustavus Swing Club. The three time winner of Gustavus’s Lawrence Owen’s Prize in creative writing, Nicole is from Blaine Minnesota, and she can always be found with a notebook or sketchbook in hand.
Grace "Gigi" deGrood
Gigi deGrood is currently a sophomore at Gustavus. She is a studio art major that specializes in painting, and a member of Gustavus Chapel Choir. She is originally from Edina, MN, and is influenced by the works of Peter Max, Frank Big Bear, Chaim Soutine and political cartoons.
Evelyn "Evie" Doran
Evie Doran is a junior English and Political Science major from Rosemount, Minnesota. On campus, she is a member of the Gustavus Wind Orchestra, Model United Nations Team, and Student Senate, and tutors in the Writing Center and Political Science Department. When she's not in the library, Evie can be found getting coffee with friends, hammocking in the Arb, or thrift shopping in town.
Alyssa Ford
Alyssa Ford is currently a Junior at Gustavus. She is majoring in Psychology and Russian/Eastern European studies. Alyssa enjoys napping, painting, and stargazing. Unfortunately, Alyssa has also recently given up on her dream to go to space and is looking for a new calling. Ideas welcome.
Gabriella Garry
Ella Garry is a junior communications major and english minor from Eagan, MN. She is the co-president of Gustavus Women in Leadership, where she values women’s empowerment. She enjoys writing, traveling, working as a tour guide for future gusties, and spending time with friends. She hopes to pursue a career that is built upon writing and helping others find their own voice.
Noa Hickerson
Noa Hickerson is a senior at Gustavus. He is an English major and Art Studio minor. Noa graduated from Waseca high school, but currently lives in the Cities. In his free time, Noa often can be found doing puzzles or finding new books to read.
Bailey Hoff
Bailey Hoff is currently a sophomore at Gustavus. She is a member of the Environmental Action Coalition and the Big Hill Farm. She is originally from Lino Lakes, MN, and enjoys drawing and hiking in her free time.
Hania Imdad
Hania Imdad is a senior at Gustavus. She is from Islamabad, Pakistan. She is passionate about gardens, photography and South Asian history.
Corbyn Jenkins
Corbyn Jenkins is currently a senior English major at Gustavus. She is a member of the Gustavus chapter of Alpha Sigma Tau, is a Content Production Intern in the Marketing and Communications office and is a Digital Arts Tutor. She's originally from South Saint Paul, Minnesota and in her free time enjoys writing, taking photos, going to concerts, spending time outdoors and drinking way too much coffee.
Signe Jeremiason
Signe Jane is a current Junior at Gustavus studying Environmental Studies, Classics, and Studio Art. She is an involved member of The Radicals, a social justice/art student organization that brings like-minded individuals together to create meaningful art and engage in radical conversations and actions. Signe loves natural history art and science illustration, as well as anything art nouveau.

Elisabeth Johnson
Elisabeth Johnson is currently a junior at Gustavus. She is a statistics and financial economics double major and plays trombone in the Gustavus Jazz Ensemble. Her hobbies include reading, writing poetry, eating fortune cookies and watching Brooklyn 99.
Todd "TJ" Johnson
Todd Johnson is currently a junior at Gustavus. He is an English major and a member of the Gustavus Football Team. Before attending Gustavus, Johnson attended Patrick Henry High School. His interests include poetry, athletics, any genre of music, video games, reading, and writing.
Paige Kamin
Paige Kamin is a junior Communication Studies major and English minor at Gustavus. She is from Eden Prairie, Minnesota, is involved in Chapel Choir and Hall Council, and she is a member of the Sigma Tau Delta National English Honor society. Paige loves singing, writing, reading and playing her ukulele.
William LeNeave
Will LeNeave is currently a junior at Gustavus. He is a biology major, a member of the Gustavus Men's Hockey Team, and a Gustie Greeter. Before enrolling in Gustavus, LeNeave attended Orono High School. After graduating in 2015, he spent the next two years playing junior hockey in Canada, splitting his time between Ontario and British Columbia. His interests include athletics, fitness, woodworking, reading, listening to podcasts, and spending time with loved ones.
Megan Morris
Megan Morris is currently a junior Theatre major with an emphasis in Costume Technology. She is a member of the Chapel Choir and Gustavus Women's A Capella Choir. When she's not sewing, singing, or writing, she's probably watching a movie from her Netflix list with a bag of ACT Movie Theater Butter microwavable popcorn.
Katie O'Brien
Katie O'Brien is a junior double majoring in English and Psychology from Le Suer, MN. She spends her time reading, writing and spending as much time as she can in nature, particularly hiking, hammocking and kayaking.
Isaac Olson
Isaac Olson is a senior at Gustavus Adolphus College majoring in English. He grew up in Cokato, Minnesota. Isaac is an enthusiast of film, poetry, theatre (especially Shakespeare), and gospel music. He is also a member of the Gustavus Choir.
Marie Osuna
Marie Osuna is a current junior at Gustavus passionate about mental health advocacy, writing, and good coffee (in no particular order). She is the co-president of the Habitat for Humanity and the Sigma Tau Delta executive boards, as well as the big partner to a cool seven-year-old and the missions chair for Colleges Against Cancer.
Cadence Paramore
Cadence Paramore is a freshman English major with a minor in Political Science. She is the photography editor for The Gustavian Weekly and is currently one of the design editors for the Firethorne. She's been published multiple times in her high school's literary and art magazine, The Cougar Journal, and had a photograph in the 2019 Honors Visual Art Exhibition at the Minnesota Museum of American Art. She lives in St. Paul, Minnesota, and is hoping to write a book and pursue a career in publishing.
Marit Pederson
Marit Pedersen is a Senior English major at Gustavus. She lives in Eden Prairie, MN. She is an avid photographer and enjoys traversing the world. She plans to work for an editing and publishing house in the Twin Cities area and pursue her dream of being an author and photographer.
Emily Pratt
Emily Pratt is a senior English and Scandinavian Studies major at Gustavus from Moorhead, Minnesota. President of Gustavus’ Viking Society, and member of the Sigma Tau Delta English honors society, she has had a great love for the Swedish language and for spinning stories from a young age. When not in the Swedish Tutor office or teaching her energetic Liberate the Booty fitness class, Emily can usually be found baking, cosplay planning, or being emotional about fictional characters.
Yesenia Sanchez
Yesenia Sanchez is currently a first-year at Gustavus. She is a member of OLAS and a Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies major. Yesenia was born and raised in Red Wing, Minnesota where she was the editor-in-chief of her high school's inaugural literary magazine. She has a fondness for dogs, poetry, puzzles, naps and Gushers.
Hannah Schroeder
Hannah Schroeder is a sophomore geology major at Gustavus. She is a member of Geo Club and Swing Club. She is originally from Waite Park, MN. She loves dancing, writing, going on hikes and doing anything crafty or artsy.
Ababio Serebour
Ababio Serebour is a sophomore at Gustavus who is from Worcester, MA. Aside being a member of the Gustavus track and field team and Gustavus ROTC, he enjoys writing, music and performing spoken word poetry. His love for literature and music of all genres makes him spontaneous and versatile with the pen.
Victoria "Tori" Smith
Tori Smith is currently a sophomore English major at Gustavus. She's a member of the Tri Sigma sorority on campus and a volunteer through Pound Pals. When she's not in class or studying you can usually find her cross stitching vine references in the hopes of one day decorating an entire bathroom with them.
Laura Stickney
Laura Stickney is a junior Enlgish major with minors in Comparative Literature and Studio Art. You've probably seen her walking around campus in a black cloche hat! She is co-president of the PageTurners Book Club, a member of Sigma Tau Delta English Honor Society, and a writing tutor. This year, she won first place for the Lawrence Owens Prize for Poetry and Gerhard Alexis Prize. Her recent work explores the relationship between her wacky, whimsical inner world and outside reality. Aside from writing poetry, Laura enjoys reading classic novels, drinking coffee, drawing, wearing bright colors and eating carrot cake.

Gunnar Van Guilder
Gunnar Van Guilder is a Senior Studio Art major at Gustavus. He lives in Hudson, WI in the Saint Croix River Valley, and enjoys the diverse landscapes of the area. He has plans to attend grad school for art, design, or architecture in the future to pursue his interest in the arts and design.

Michaela Woodward
Michaela Woodward is currently a freshman Spanish major at Gustavus and is originally from Wisconsin. She is a part of the Gustavus Wind Symphony and the Gustavian Weekly. When she's not writing, she can be found making excellent mac & cheese, getting over-emotional about figure skating and making hyper-specific playlists on Spotify.
Paige Wormer
Paige Wormer is a Senior Management major with minors in Spanish and Film/Media Studies. She apart of the Proclaim leadership team, Tri Sigma sorority, and is an officer for the Gustavus Wind Orchestra. One day she hopes to share her talents as a videographer and photographer.
Ntomoo Luke Yang
Ntomoo Luke Yang is currently a first-generation junior at Gustavus. He is involved with HACO, ASU, and CAB. He hails from St. Paul, Minnesota, and in his free time enjoys playing video games, dancing, and photography among writing. Through his writing he hopes to convey gratitude to those who came before him, as well as opening eyes and ears to unseen and unheard stories. Through his photography he wants to capture the beauty of the everyday world around him. Lastly, he has his family to thank for always believing in him.
